Popped 9 HR’s my junior yr & 12 my senior yr in high school, but being 6’5 280lbs played football for Oregon in college. Best baseball memory, I was on hand for Nolan Ryan’s No-No in Oakland, JSanchez’s No No this yr, but October 14, 2002 NLCS takes the cake, I had seats next to Giants dugout 1 row back from owners, instead of taking any goofball buddies, I took my dad, a Giants fan from days they we’re in NY. This would be his first time at the new stadium ( he took me to countless games at the “Stick”) and unfortunately his only time, he passed away in 2004. So we get to our seats and sitting in the owners box is Willie Mays, my dad’s favorite player, in between the second & third innings Willie & my dad start talking baseball, the look of excitement & aw my father had, I will never forget, Willie was kind enough to sign a ball for my dad, which I have in my office. The Giants clinch the pennant, & Willie Mays talking baseball with dad, my dad told me that was the best game he ever went to, it was indeed the best game he & I ever went to. Now I look forward to when my son understands baseball, he’s only 16 mo old and already been to 9 games
