All SPB 1963 Managers, We have had a change in the ranks for 1963. Manager David Ball of the Indianapolis Americans has resigned because he does not have the time it takes to properly run his team the way he feels it should be run. This was partially on account of the demand of hours from his job. He did a good job for us during the '62 season and took on the awsome responsibility of running an expansion team during it's first year. The new manager of the team will be Michael C. (Mike) Clark from Macon Ga. His info has already been posted to the website. He is very enthused about landing a team in SPB-I. So take a minute, if you so desire, to send him a welcome to the League. He has renamed the team the Macon Peaches. He is ready to make a few changes. All SPB 1931 Managers, Due to a lack of time to devote to running 3 SPB teams, Jerry Dailey has decided to pull the plug on SPB1931 and is giving up the reigns of the Ohio Buckeyes. He will now concentrate his efforts on his entries in SPB51 and SPB72. We have a new manager, hot off the presses, to take his place. He is Larry Schilling from New Orleans. Larry has renamed the team the Louisiana Purchase and has control of the team for the coming season. He is ready to build em up, or break em up! You might take a couple of minutes to send Larry a welcome to SPB-1931. His info will be posted to the website very shortly. Best to you SPB-III Larry!! Thanks, Gary
