Subject: 1969 Season Overusage Report.
All SPB I 1969 Managers,  Overall, a very good job this year in keeping your players within their allowed appearances!  First off, as always, my hat goes off to the following managers for having no overusage penalty during the 1969 season:

Asheville Tourists (Rich Applegate)
Cleveland Spiders (Chris Williams)
Chicago Ravens (John Cusack)
Dayton Triangles (John Turnbull)
Elkhart Electric Eels (Lynn Miller)
Flushing Rats (Joe DeZarlo)
Frankfort Tigers (Gary Plunkitt)
Hollywood Stars (Don Zminda)
Las Vegas Thunder (Mike See)
Lincoln Grays (Paul Kenyon-Greg Stillwagon)
Pocono Pelicans (Jim Wheeler)
Rossville Cubs (Rick Ryan)
Schaumburg Saxons (Tim Johnson)
Wabash Ravines (Bill Lanke)

14 managers in there perfect, great job fellows!

The following managers were tagged with slight overuse (all less than 10 games):

Kenosha Comets (Dave Lauer) 1 Game
Diego Segui - 1 Game (1)

Rockford Forest Cities (Terry Baxter) 1 Game
Lee Maye 5 AB (1)

Evanston Black Sox (John Ungashick) 3 Games
Denis Menke 5 AB (1)
Jim McAndrew 2 Games (2)

Habana Rubustos (Marc Robinson) 4 Games
Jim Pagliaroni 11 AB (2)
Maury Wills 10 AB (2)

Las Vegas Tarantulas (Marshall Tom) 4 Games
Pat Jarvis 1 Start (2)
Tommy John 1 Start (2)

Blue Ridge Mountaineers (Steve Brunner) 8 Games
Tommy Harper 44 AB (8)

No team was accessed a permanent penalty.  This league is just great!  That's all there is to it.  :-)

Penaltys against the Tennesse Smokies (Wade Mitchell-Steve Ehresman) were dropped due to the manager change in mid season.  Penalties again the Cooperstown Legends (Jerry Cada) were dropped since Jerry is giving up this SPB team.  Overall, a great job by our SPB I managers.  Thanks to each of you for making 1969 even more enjoyable.

Best,
Gary
