SPB-100 Managers, Wanted to let you know before you get deep into your draft scouting that the SPB-100 Rules Committee has adopted the following changes to the SPB-Constitution, specifically for SPB-100. Most of the changes that have been made are because of the differences in roster sizes and player usage during this era. 1. Federal League Players stats will count in 1914 and 1915 2. Starting Pitchers with an ERA of 3.50 or higher making fewer than 24 real starts may double their actual number of starts not to exceed 24 total starts. 3. Relief Pitchers with an ERA of 3.50 or higher, and who have fewer than 60 real relief appearances, may double their actual number of relief appearances up to a maximum of 60. 4. In SPB-100, players with 400 or more at bats wll NOT be rated at any position for which they played 5 or fewer games." 5. During ANY series from April through August on the league calendar, a team's active roster is not to exceed TWENTY-TWO players, whether the team is AWAY or at HOME. During the month of SEPTEMBER, the active roster size may be expanded to no more than FORTY players. Players without statistics for a given year, who are provided with a roster marker indicating their next future year of appearance, are never eligible for play under any circumstances. 6. a. For SPB-100: Teams with the four highest winning percentages will protect 15 players. The four teams with the lowest winning percentages will protect 17 players.
