All SPB III Managers, Here is the report for 1939 overusage of players. Not as good as we have had in the past, but very good job by most managers. First off our list of teams and managers with no overusage for 1939: Hoosier Thunderbolts (Gary Plunkitt) Maumee River Carp (Chris Williams) Odessa Files (John Saunders) River City Rugrats (Jerry Cada) Western Panthers (Rick Ryan) Worcester Grays (Hugh McElaney) Great job, guys! :-) Now the list of teams with 3 or less games of overuse: Kansas City Blues (Rich Applegate) (1 Game) Al Evans 7 AB (1) Rock Island Arsenal (Terry Baxter) (1 Games) Eldon Auker, 1 ST* (1) Schaumburg Hawks (John Ungashick) (2 Games) Pete Coscarart, 5 AB (1) Cy Blanton, 1 GM (1) Brooklyn Royal Giants (Don Rahn) (3 Games) Jim Henry, 6 GMS* (3) New Paris Mules (Lynn Miller) (3 Games) Danny MacFayden, 1 ST (2) Boots Poffenberger, 1 GM* (.5, rounded up to one) Very decent job, came close. Here are the other 3 teams: Baroda Barons (Mike Galbreath) (9 Games) Jim Shilling 32 AB (6) Jennings Poindexter, 2 GMS* (1) Milt Shoffner, 1 ST (2) You scoot through Mike, and avoid a permanent penalty. Good enough. ;) South River Muck Dogs (Joe DeZarlo) (13 Games)** Joe Grace 39 AB (7) Lloyd Waner 30 AB (6) Gotta watch those brothers Joe. ;) Permanent Penalty, but not terrible. Pocono Tomahawks - An extensive penalty was avoided due to the resignation of the manager. So this team will not be penalized with a new manager coming on board in 1940.
