positions. The year they return with MLB stats is listed last.  If it is '84, then they will be 
added to the coming rookie draft.  If it is a later year, it will be in parenthisis, and they will 
come back in that rookie draft.  If they no longer play in MLB, there will be an asterik instead.

This is the total list for all players lost due to the 50% Use 'Em or Loose 'Em Rule during play 
of the 1983 season.  Only a few players with some value, maybe a surprise or two, but overall a good 
job for managers getting the players needed time this past year.  A total of 59 players, 20 of them 
with some future left. There were 20 teams with 50% losses.  The four teams with no losses were the
