On May 15th, Lakers’ lefty Warren Spahn threw a CG shutout at the Titans on the road.  
Big deal – Spahn threw lots of those. 
 
But in this one, Spahnie walked nobody – and struck out nobody.  He gave up 7 singles and a double, and 
made the only Laker error, but nobody touched home plate for the Titans, nobody got a free pass to first 
base, and nobody hung their head walking back to the home dugout after whiffing.
